Leave the car behind and walk to the numerous attractions the village has to offer. Enjoy the events that take place all year round in the central square from the hotel terrace. Alternatively, spend a moment shopping or take advantage of the wide choice of establishments that enliven the life of the historic centre. For gourmets, there is something to suit all tastes, from a trattoria to a gourmet restaurant, a restaurant typical to the Valdostan and not forgetting the Petit Bijou. Our staff are always happy to provide advice.
In the evening and well into the night, the lights of the Casino de la Vallée, one of the oldest casinos in Europe, continue to illuminate the life of the town. Open every day, you will find 400 electronic gaming stations, a Poker Room and numerous gaming tables. Not only single games, but also competitions and tournaments, on a calendar that is always full of events.
If, on the other hand, you want to devote yourself to looking after your body and relaxing your mind, immerse yourself in the waters of the Terme di Saint-Vincent, a wellness oasis overlooking one of the most beautiful views in the central valley. There is a wide choice of indoor and outdoor pools, whirlpool baths, dry and wet saunas, as well as the opportunity for massages and personalised treatments.
Finally, set out to discover the surrounding nature on foot or by bike. Saint-Vincent is a crossroads of beautiful trails and cycle paths, such as the Ru d'Arlaz, the walk to Ussel Castle which can be seen from the village or the cycle path to Aosta... not forgetting the Ru de la Plaine, one of the most scenic parts of the Via Francigena. If you have children with you, an unmissable destination is the Col de Joux, reachable by bike and only 15 minutes by car.
Exploring the Aosta Valley
Saint-Vincent has an extremely convenient location for exploring the entire Aosta Valley: situated at the bottom of the valley (and therefore easily accessible all year round), just 30 km from Aosta, the "little Rome of the Alps", it is located between two of the most prominent side valleys of the region (Valtournenche, the valley of the Matterhorn, and Val d'Ayas, the valley of Monte Rosa) and opposite the Montavic Regional Park. Furthermore, given the size of the region, even if you go to places further afield, such as Courmayeur on the French border, it will take you just over an hour's drive from our hotel.
